Twenty-two-year-old Beatrice Laus, famously known as Beabadobee, has taken the music industry by storm, amassing 4.6 billion streams, as well as a huge social media following. Bea quickly gained a huge Gen-Z fan base, who have continued to pack festivals and venues to watch her perform live. Bea is currently touring with Taylor Swift, opening alongside artists Gracie Abrams Gayle and Paramore.
While attending Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour earlier this week, I was fortunate enough to be able to catch Bea's set, which consisted of nine powerful tracks. One of these tracks was Bea's new hit single, 'Glue Song,' which became instantly popular, obtaining over 18 million streams in the first week of its release! Throughout her set, Bea showcased her impressive vocal technique as well as her band, consisting of a wonderful drummer and two spectacular guitarists. In addition to the musical aspect of the concert, Bea included a variety of visual components throughout her set, capturing the attention of fans all throughout the stadium, and drawing them into her performance. By using drawing-like displays on screen before the show and an array of colored lights throughout, Bea energized the audience, who sang along while becoming mesmerized by the art.
In addition to her recent song release and tours, Bea released an album titled Beatopia, in July 2022, just a few months before 'Glue Song' came out. Beatopia contained 14 tracks, including singles such as 'the perfect pair', '10:36', and 'talk.' This album rose to fame, gaining praise from musicians and tastemakers, eventually earning #4 on the UK's Official Album Chart. Beatopia digs deep into the mind of 7-year-old Bea, opening up a magical, emotional world filled with imagination. This album touches on the importance of self-love, acceptance, and the wonders that arise from showing love to others as well as yourself. This is her fifth album and a fan favorite, to say the least. This album is like watching the rain trickle down a window on a cloudy day---peaceful and comforting.

The Eras Tour is not Bea's first time touring; she previously joined Halsey on her Love and Power Tour in 2022. In addition to touring with artists, she has performed at multiple major music festivals, including Coachella, Gov. Ball NYC, Glastonbury, and more! Bea is an extremely talented artist and musician, and we look forward to seeing what she does in the future, including (hopefully) a headlining tour!
