Live at the Winchester: Cellophane Jane, LILIEAE, and Bury the Pines

Edited By Iceis Augustino

Friday, May 17th, was a night of electrifying music at the Winchester Music Tavern in Lakewood, Ohio. Known for its intimate and welcoming atmosphere, provided the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening of live music.

The night kicked off with Bury the Pines, whose unique blend of Midwest Emo and Mathy-Prog instantly captivated the audience. As a neurodivergent person, I resonated with their debut single, "ADHD."

Next up was LILIEAE, a Cleveland-based rock band with an alternative edge. Their powerful vocals and tight instrumentation created an electrifying atmosphere. One of my favorite songs from their set was "November" from their album RUN! RUN! RUN! which showcased the frontwoman Lydia's powerful vocals and emotive lyrics.

The night culminated with Cellophane Jane, the self-proclaimed Glam Pop Electric Preachers of Rock 'N Roll. The band's lead singer and guitarist, Lex, dressed in dazzling attire, sang the anthem of the night, "The Great Pretender."

Be sure to follow Cellophane Jane, LILIEAE, and Bury the Pines on social media to stay updated on their upcoming shows and new releases. These bands are undoubtedly ones to watch, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store next!
