On December 10th, 2022, Lea Marra & the Dream Catchers performed their newly released holiday EP A Candy Cane Christmas at the Grog Shop with special guests: Dave Ziggy Deitke and Peg Mcnight!

The Grog Shop is an eclectic music venue in Coventry, a neighborhood in Cleveland Heights. Fun Fact: The Grog Shop is the first venue I ever attended and saw live local music. It ignited my passion for discovering and supporting indie artists nearly a decade ago!
I’m not typically a fan of holiday music, but this album is the exception! The group brings an upbeat folksy spin to classics and includes strong emotive originals. Lea describes her sound as singer/songwriter "with an Americana/Porch Folk Pop feel added by her band The Dream Catchers.” My favorite song is 'One More Christmas.' The current iteration of The Dream Catchers consists of Missy Long (violinist and vocalist), Josh Bailey (mandolin), Spencer Paul (upright bass), and Chase Franklin (banjo). Their next show is January 27th at the Beachland Tavern in Cleveland, supported by Chloe & The Steel Strings, and AJ & The Woods.
