The Brazen Youth: The Basement, Columbus Ohio
The Brazen Youth’s performance on November 2nd at A&R Music Bar perfectly matched the fall weather felt through the venue’s open garage doors in Columbus, Ohio. They played songs from their new album Eagle, Idaho, such as "Spirit Finds Yours," "So Afraid," and the special-requested crowd-favorite "Cloud Parade" in the sold-out venue.
Paired with the down-to-Earth sound and honest lyrics about the vulnerability in life, The Brazen Youth’s performance was uplifting and refreshing. On stage, the band members interacted as a family, checking on one another and completely enjoying their performance together. The crowd thoroughly enjoyed guitarist Mei Semones's complex riffing and Nic Lussier's emotional yet easy-listening voice. John Lisi, who was brought on as bassist for the tour, wore an 'Iowa 80 World’s Largest Truck Stop’ shirt that was a perfect midwest fit. The Brazen Youth's shows continue throughout November, in Boston, MA on the 6th and New York, NY on the 7th and 9th. Follow them on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Spotify to stay up to date!
