Valley Takes Boston by Storm with the Lost in Translation Tour

Canadian indie-pop group Valley is in the midst of their Lost in Translation tour. They're celebrating the release of their upcoming album with the same name. Joined by Aidan Bissett, they gave a showstopping performance at Big Night Live in Boston, Massachusetts on April 26th.

Aidan Bissett

The night kicked off with a stellar set from singer Aidan Bissett. Having seen him open for Claire Rosinkranz last year at Union Stage in D.C., I was so impressed with the new levels of stardom he's reached in such a short amount of time. Now backed by a drummer and bassist, Aidan's catchy indie anthems had the crowd hanging onto every word.

Valley welcomed the audience with their hit song 'There's Still a Light in the House,' followed by tracks from their highly anticipated sophomore album 'Lost in Translation,' to be released June 23rd. With upbeat choruses backed by dreamy synths and groovy guitar riffs, Valley has a sound like no other. What made their performance truly showstopping is the bandmembers' versatility-- drummer Karah James jumped down to the barricade mid-set to sing a chorus, while guitarist Mickey Brandolino would strap his instrument to his back to play some bars on the keys. With their uniqueness and sheer talent, Valley are the ones to watch in indie-pop.
