JP Saxe Romanticizes the Mess in Atlanta for his A Grey Area World Tour

Edited by: Tiffany Mercer

JP Saxe hit Atlanta for A Grey Area World Tour at Buckhead Theatre on February 27th. Despite being under the weather, he warned the audience that he may or may not overshare on stage from taking medication earlier and trying to rest his voice all day. He didn’t overshare that much, but he was genuine about embracing life's messy moments and coining the term “romanticize the messiness”. JP's frequent interactions with the crowd added a personal touch, keeping the vibe light and enjoyable despite how deeply emotional his songs are. A notable highlight was when he acknowledged that on his previous visits to Atlanta, many of his fans worked in healthcare, so as a gesture of appreciation, he generously gave out free tickets to healthcare workers to come to this show. Also, opening for him was R&B singer/songwriter Justin Nozuka who drew in the audience with just his guitar and sultry voice.
