After a six-year stint of not touring in Florida, Niall Horan brought the house down in Tampa, Florida at the MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre in a sold-out 20,000-seat show on May 31st with his tour, "The Show: Live on Tour," on his second stop on the US leg of the tour. Opening the show was Del Water Gap, whose music was right up my alley. It gave me the vibes of The 1975, Tame Impala, and bands like that. It was indie rock, but it was also still fun, and the performance was absolutely amazing. It had me dancing in my spot on the lawn. I'm usually pretty iffy about openers I've never heard of before, but as soon as I heard the first song, their music went right into my Spotify library. The lead singer of the band was funny and gracious as he thanked everyone for coming, and introduced every member of his band.

Once Del Water Gap left the stage, we waited patiently for Niall's arrival, and it was absolutely worth it. Niall started the show with one of his hit singles from his album The Show, called 'Nice to Meet Ya.' He played so many of the biggest hits of his three albums. He also slowed down from the hype of the show and played a few acoustic and piano tracks like 'The Show,' 'This Town,' and 'Paper Houses.' He even threw it back to his One Direction days by playing one of their biggest songs, 'Night Changes.' which brought me to tears. He had all of us dancing and screaming the lyrics to the songs we grew up listening to. He brought the show to an end by playing 'Still' and finishing with the two encore songs that everyone loves, 'Heartbreak Weather' and 'Slow Hands' (His biggest songs). I had a fantastic time watching him perform his heart out on the stage, and I would do it all over again. It felt like I was a teenager again, just blasting 1D songs on my speaker and singing them at the top of my lungs. We waited patiently these six years for this jaw-dropping show, and I hope everyone there had as much fun as I did.

Niall Horan is a former member of the multi-award-winning British boyband One Direction. The band formed in 2010 on a competition show called The X Factor UK, and they skyrocketed into popularity immediately. However, the group disbanded in 2015 after saying they would just be on a small hiatus, which led to all the members doing solo careers. Niall's first solo album, Flicker, was released in 2017. It was met with outstanding reviews. He then released Heartbreak Weather during the COVID outbreak in 2020. Finally, he released his junior album, The Show, in 2023. Check out Niall and Del Water Gap below. Enjoy their music if you've never listened to either one of them! Also, don't forget to see them on tour. You can check out the dates below!
