Get Jolly with Super Saiyan Jay's New Holiday Releases 'Deck The Halls' and 'Wish List'

Super Saiyan Jay is a rising rap artist from West Palm Beach, Florida with a growing fanbase. He began his career in the music rap industry in 2019 with his first EP Greatest Combination, which included 5 songs in collaboration with rap artist King Dev. This year, Jay dropped what is now his most streamed single 'Stayin In,' about taking a day off and relaxing. Now, on December 1st, he presents his two latest holiday singles in alliance with King Dev, 'Deck The Halls' and 'Wish List'.
'Deck The Halls' contains those iconic festive jingle bells in the background to set the holiday mood. The bold bass paired with the joyful bells make the perfect unique holiday rap mood. The single expresses bringing Christmas joy with a party/celebration. Jay uses a lot of Christmas comparisons and metaphors throughout the song to get his point across, "I'm under the mistletoe, blow me some kisses. I'm the Grinch coming on doomsday".
In contrast to 'Deck the Halls,' 'Wish List' has more of a pop beat to it rather than a deep bass. It is a much catchier song with a distinguished rhythm. The added soft jingle bells in the background tie the song together perfectly for a holiday mood lifter. This song is more of a pop/rap love song compared to the other, "baby shower me with kisses, let me see your wish list, you don't got to worry cause I got it." This one is my personal favorite of the two, I like how buoyant the overall tone of the song is.
